A few years ago, I started this project on homelessness.I was living in Paris, and I noticed a sudden and drastic increase in homelessness, almost over night. I started to wonder why that was, Not long before, I was faced with a situation that could have easily led to me becoming homeless. It was not due to addiction issues, nor any dramatic events, just bad luck and ignorance concerning French civil laws.

I had a few small local exhibits and saw the impact my work had on people, which led to me embarking on a greater journey and deciding to turn it into a global project, covering countries from each continent. I started in Europe with : Paris, London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen/ Malmö, and Miercurea Ciuc (Romania). In 2017 I went to Montreal and 2018 New York City. This summer I’m going to Cusco (Peru).

In addition to impacting the public, I felt that just listening to people’s stories, was equally rewarding, for me and for the person sharing. People who live / have lived on the street often have at least one thing in common: they feel invisible, ignored and mistreated.

I believe that most people have a good heart, and do actually care and want to help. The problem is that we are quite ignorant or scared; we also often have the misconception that “this could never happen to me”.

We also often assume that the person who is homeless deserves to be for some reason.

No one deserves to live under such inhuman circumstances.

We all just want to be seen, heard and feel significant in some way. We are all human.

I hope to finish this project in less then 2 years with 3 remaining trip to : Africa, Australia and Asia.

I’m reaching out today as I know that I can’t create something remarkable alone.

One person can’t create miracles. I need YOUR help and support to make a difference.

My goal for this project is to : raise awareness , money plus eventually create a system helping people back into society.
